Wildgrain: Fresh Bread from Frozen at Home

Wildgrain: Fresh Bread from Frozen at Home

Fresh bread from the oven at home seems like a dream if you’re not a baker, and it also feels like such a slog to put everything together, knead it, let it rise, etc. That’s why I was so excited when someone from Wildgrain reached out to ask me to try out their product!

Wildgrain is a membership box that delivers bake-from-frozen sourdough breads, fresh pastas, and artisan pastries to your home. All of their products are baked straight from the freezer (no need to thaw!) and are made with clean ingredients.

Check out how good they look:

Literally, it felt like a dream to wake up, pop some frozen croissants into the oven, and have a fresh breakfast sandwich in less than 30 minutes β€” the croissants took 22, the eggs took about 4, and then assembly took about 2 minutes.

Soft scrambled eggs, avocado, and Truff hot sauce on my croissant

With resting time, there was a sourdough loaf that came in my box that also took less than 30 minutes β€” more time than it took for Alan and I to absolutely devour it πŸ˜‚ I was feeling fancy and made a whipped white bean, potato, parmesan, and parsley puree to pipe on top.

Topped with edible flowers, flaky salt, and some chopped parsley

Carbs truly are the perfect vehicle for anything! We enjoyed our macarons and I cannot wait to try the frozen pasta soon.
