This marketing campaign focused on Los Angeles-based publishers was the first in a series of geo-located campaigns. Working with a photographer, design, and copy editor we launched a publication featuring interviews with four different publishers. The campaign was promoted on the company blog and social to increase reach.
I took the publisher interviews I conducted and worked with a team to create a spotlight flipbook showcasing the issuu product.
Another asset I used to promote the campaign was a teaser video pulling footage from our trip to L.A. and from visiting our publishers. The video was shared on social and embedded in the issuu flipbook to provide an example of our embedding feature.
I promoted the campaign on social media with a schedule of posts across different channels, and coordinated sharing from our publishers who were featured in the flipbook. Our initial Facebook and Twitter posts showed twice as much engagement as regular posts.
To increase reach amongst issuu users, I worked with Engineering to add targeted ads on the site directed at Los Angeles users.
