SF Eats: Rise & Grind

SF Eats: Rise & Grind

Rise & Grind is a small cafe in Inner Richmond, SF. One of the owners apparently used to be a barista at Home Cafe, a super cute cafe in the Outer Sunset! There are some similarities between the two, but the lattes and food here are pretty delicious and unique. They also have art hanging on the walls from local artists that you can buy. Check out a sample of what they have on the menu below!

Here are some of my favorites from Rise & Grind!

The creme brรปlรฉe latte is sweet and delicious! They put a layer of sugar on top and torch it, and then the latte itself is pretty standard. I loved smashing the sugar, though!

At the time I had this, the breakfast sandwich hadn't made it onto the menu yet! I love any place that does a sandwich with a biscuit, and this one was pretty freakin' good. They keep it simple using bacon, egg (hardboiled so it's not super messy to eat), avocado, cheddar cheese, and quite possibly thousand island dressing.

The black sesame latte was not too sweet, which I really liked. The only problem was that the sesame all sank to the problem so you really need to make sure you stir this thing before drinking! Overall, I liked the taste and how smooth it was.

With free wi-fi, I could totally see myself hanging out here to work. The avocado toast is my go-to, but the other things on the menu made it onto my "must get again" list!
