Homemade Acai Bowl

Acai bowl with banana, blueberries, coconut flakes and honey

Ingredients:

  • Frozen acai (1 bag, Trader Joes)
  • 1 banana (frozen)
  • 1/2 cup blueberries
  • 2 tablespoons coconut flakes
  • 1/2 banana, sliced
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  1.  Follow the directions on the acai pouch! Run under warm water for 15-20 seconds and break the frozen acai into pieces. Cut the pouch and put the pieces into a blender with the frozen banana and blend until it's smooth.
  2. Pour the contents into a bowl and add whatever toppings you'd like! I added a sliced banana, blueberries, coconut flakes and honey to mine.

Optional: toast the coconut flakes beforehand for some extra flavor in your bowl.
